Olaplex values its customers and respects their privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that we collect about you in the United States, including some data collected through our websites and mobile applications (“online sources”). Neither your name nor any of your personal information is sold to any other non-affiliated company or agency. We may obtain personal information about you from various sources.  We may collect this information when you provide on our online sources.  Our products are available for sale in many professional salon stores and third party owned salons. Personal information collected in these professional salon stores and other salons is not provided to us. This Privacy Policy does not address the information practices of professional salon stores or the third party owned salons in which our products are sold. professional salon stores and third party owned salons may have their own privacy notices or policies, which we strongly suggest you review when you provide them with your personal information. We are not responsible for the professional salon stores’ and other salons’ personal information practices.

When you visit this site, we also collect certain information by automated means, using technologies such as cookies, web server logs and web beacons. The information we collect in this manner includes the IP address of the device you use to connect to the Internet, unique device identifier, browser characteristics, device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, information on actions taken on our site, dates and times of website visits and the pages accessed. You may choose to provide personal information to us in a number of ways, such as when you participate in an offer or promotion, sign-up to receive email up-dates, or when you make a purchase on our site.  The types of personal information you may provide to us includes: Contact Information (full name, postal address, email address, and telephone number) Salon License Number, Expiration Date, and State of License Salon Name Information provided to us by social networks or mobile applications when you visit our social media platforms or use one of our social networking or mobile applications (such as your name, profile picture, likes, location, friend list and other information described in the social networking application sign-up page, or your geo-location details when using one of our mobile applications) On Mobile Applications: passwords, usernames, license information, *geo locator. How we Use that Information We may use the information you provide to:

California Do Not Track Notice

• Our affiliates within Olaplex, LLC
• Service providers who perform services on our behalf based on our instructions.  We do not authorize these service providers to use or disclose the information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements.  Examples of these service providers include entities that process credit card payments, fulfill orders, and provide web hosting and marketing services. 
• Other third parties with your consent. In addition, we may disclose information about you (i) if we are required to do so by law or legal process, (ii) to law enforcement authorities or other government officials, or (iii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activity.

We also reserve the right to transfer personal information we have about you in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets.  Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to direct the transferee to use personal information you have provided to us in a manner that is consistent with our Privacy Policy.  Following such a sale or transfer, you may contact the entity to which we transferred your personal information with any inquiries concerning the processing of that information.

Your Choices

We offer you certain choices about how we communicate with you and what information we collect from you. You may withdraw any consent you previously provided to us or object at any time on legitimate grounds and free of charge to the processing of your personal information, and we will apply your preferences going forward.

Email Opt-Out: You can choose not to receive marketing communications from us by clicking on the unsubscribe link in our marketing emails, CLICKING HERE, or contacting us as specified in the "How to Contact Us" section below. Please include your name, email address and postal address if you send us your request by email or postal mail. Our website is not designed to respond to "do not track" signals received from browsers.

If you are a California resident, you may ask us to refrain from sharing your information with certain of our affiliates and other third parties for their marketing purposes.

Social Media Opt-Out: To remove or delete our apps from your social media account, follow the instructions from the social network itself.

Withdrawing Consent: You may withdraw any consent you previously provided to us, or object at any time on legitimate grounds, to the processing of your personal information.  We will apply your preferences going forward.  In some circumstances, withdrawing your consent to our use or disclosure of your personal information will mean that you cannot take advantage of some of our products or services.

 Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to and receive details about the personal information we maintain about you, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal data, and have the information blocked or deleted, as appropriate.  The right to access personal information may be limited in some circumstances by local law requirements.  You may request to review, change or delete your personal information by sending an email to [email protected]

How Information is Protected

We maintain appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the personal information you provide on our online sources against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use and other unlawful forms of processing. We use Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") technology to protect the transmission over the Internet of your payment card data and no credit card information is stored on this site. You can check the security of your connection by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure site, the first characters of the site address change from "http" to "https." Children’s Privacy


If you are under thirteen years of age, you may browse our site.  However, you may not provide personal information to us.  This site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen on the site.  If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a visitor under the age of thirteen on the site, we will delete the information from our records.

Updates To Our Privacy Policy 

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our personal information practices.  We will post a prominent notice on our website to notify you of any significant changes to our Privacy Policy and indicate at the top of the Policy when it was most recently updated.
