OLAPLEX BROWBOND™ BUILDING SERUM Livestream Giveaway

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win the Olaplex BROWBOND™ BUILDING SERUM Livestream Giveaway (“Giveaway”). A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. The Giveaway shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein.

How To Enter

During the BROWBOND™ BUILDING SERUM Livestream at Olaplex.com, starting at or about 2PM ET on May 6, 2024 (the “Livestream”), watch for the invitation to submit your email address to enter the Giveaway.   The invitation will be posted during the Livestream, and you must submit your email address at that time to be entered.  You will have only a few moments to respond, as directed by the Livestream moderator, so watch carefully for the invitation.  You must then continue watching the Livestream to its conclusion.  If you log off prior to the conclusion, you will cease to be entered.  The Livestream is anticipated to last approximately 15 minutes.  Limit one (1) entry per eligible individual.  No sharing of email addresses.  Any attempt to enter more than one(1) time, whether via use of multiple email addresses, names, or any other means, is grounds for disqualification.

Prize/Odds
One (1) prize is available:  A 0.15-oz. tube of OLAPLEX Browbond Building Serum Eyebrow Enhancer.  Approx. retail value $68.   The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.  If by reason of a printing, typographical, or other error, more prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these Official Rules, all persons making purportedly valid claims will be included in a random drawing to award the advertised number of prizes available.  No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.

Eligibility

The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C., age eighteen (18) years or older.  Officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents of Olaplex, Inc. (“Sponsor”) or Promotion Entities (defined below) and the immediate families and those living in the same household of any of the above, are not eligible.  All Federal, state and local rules and regulations apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Timing

Giveaway starts on May 6th, 2024, at approximately 2PM, ET, when the Livestream begins, and ends approximately 15 minutes later when the Livestream ends.  Entry must occur during the Livestream per the “How to Enter” rule above. 

Winner Selection and Notification

One (1) winner will be selected at random, at or about the conclusion of the Livestream, from among the eligible entrants who are still watching at that time.   You must be watching at the conclusion to remain eligible.  The potential winner will be announced at the end of the Livestream, and also notified by email using the email address submitted at the time of entry.  Once contacted, the potential winner will have two (2) days to provide their mailing .  Each potential winner may be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility and liability and publicity release. Failure to comply when requested may result in disqualification and award of prize to an alternate winner.  If any potential eligible winner is deemed a minor in their place of residence, any requested documents must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

After receipt of a winner’s mailing address and any other properly signed documents as referenced above that may be requested, the prize will be shipped within four (4) weeks. Failure to respond to the initial email notification as describe above, or to comply with any other provision in these Official Rules, may result in disqualification and award of prize to an alternate winner. If a prize notification or a prize is returned as undeliverable for any reason, the applicable prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash. All decisions of the Giveaway judges are final. All Federal, state and local tax liabilities are the responsibility of the winners.  

General

To the extent allowed by applicable law, by entering, you release and waive any claims you may have against Releasees for any and all injuries, claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind (including without limitation attorney's fees) resulting from acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize or parts thereof, or participation in this Giveaway.

If for any reason, this Giveaway is not capable of running as planned, or if this Giveaway or any website or other digital platform associated with the Giveaway (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper execution of the Giveaway and processing of entries in accordance with these Official Rules,  or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in the Sponsor's sole opinion, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Giveaway, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Giveaway or any portion thereof. In the event this Giveaway is cancelled, the Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a random drawing to award all remaining prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect online entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway is a violation of criminal and/or civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Where a dispute arises about who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account entered. The authorized account holder is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. A potential winner may be requested to provide the Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry and that all eligibility requirements are met.

The Sponsor and any and all Internet server(s) and access provider(s) (collectively, "Promotion Entities"), and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations and advertising and promotional agencies, and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents (collectively with the Promotion Entities, the "Releasees") are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human errors; technical malfunctions; failures, omissions, interruptions, deletions or defects of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, servers, providers, or software, including without limitation any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in the Giveaway; inability to access the Entry Site; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; data that is processed late or incorrectly or is incomplete or lost due to telephone, computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on telephone lines or the Internet or any web site (including the Entry Site) or for any other reason whatsoever; printing or other errors; any entries which are late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible, or any combination thereof.

Incomplete, lost, late, and garbled entries are void.  The Giveaway shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.  By entering, you submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal and state courts in California for any disputes relating to the Giveaway, and you hereby waive any objection to such jurisdiction.
